This free members' event explores the theme of health and offers an excellent opportunity to hear from NCB experts, including NCB's principal policy officer, Lisa Payne, and Local Government Office representatives, ensuring you can address the most important issues in the children and young people policy arena at present.
The seminar is part of a series of regional events to give members a unique chance to meet, network and exchange ideas with other NCB members.
NCB experts will address a range of issues tying in to the four event themes which were chosen based on feedback from last year’s events and will ensure a focussed discussion. Local Government Office representatives will introduce a local focus on the most important subjects on the national and regional agenda and they will be available for question and answer sessions. Discussions arising from the events can be continued online at the new NCB discussion forum.
This event will focus on health and the speakers are as follows:
- Adrian Voce, Director, Play England - Play and Health
- Jo Butcher, Assistant Director - Well-being, NCB - How children and young people can contributeto the sustainable development debate
- Lisa Payne, Principal Policy Officer, NCB - Policy overview including child health strategy and CAMHS review
- Linda Richardson, Safeguarding Advisor, Government Office for the North West -Local health issues - policy into practice
